The Green Mile 2 begins decades after the events of the first film. Paul Edgecomb (Tom Hanks), now in his late 90s and living in a quiet nursing home, still carries the emotional burden of losing John Coffey. Noah possesses the same supernatural healing abilities as his father, but unlike John, he struggles to control them.
